Gergana & Hristo Wedding at Tamarit Castle.

My photography style is natural, the perfect blend of documentary and editorial.

Tamarit Castle, one of the most breathtaking locations in Tarragona.

Tamarit Castle is located on the Costa Dorada, in Tarragona, perched on a cliff with direct views of the Mediterranean. It’s one of those places that needs no introduction: the landscape speaks for itself. The sea in the background, the feeling of being literally at the edge of the world… It’s a very special place and, honestly, one of the most beautiful in Catalonia to celebrate a wedding like this, especially if you’re looking for a venue with incredible views, the feel of the Mediterranean, or proximity to the beach.

Documentary and Editorial Photography

My photography style is natural, the perfect blend of documentary and editorial. I won’t be telling you to look at the camera every five minutes, or doing strange poses, or acting, or anything like that. Just enjoy yourself, and I’ll capture everything as it happens.

An Intimate Spring Wedding with Incredible Light

The wedding was in spring, and we were lucky enough to have a spectacular day. Sunshine, perfect temperature, and soft light that accompanied us from beginning to end, especially during the ceremony, when the castle was bathed in the setting sun and offered breathtaking views. Everything moved slowly and effortlessly, surrounded only by family and close friends. But at the same time, everything felt very alive, as Gergana and Hristo were clearly eager to enjoy themselves. That kind of atmosphere makes everything flow better: the gestures, the conversations, the hugs. And that, for a documentary wedding, makes all the difference.

Gergana and Hristo: A Simple and Very Personal Wedding

Gergana and Hristo wedding was simple, intimate, and very personal. No big productions or artifice. Just close friends and family, real moments, and a celebration designed just for them, not for anyone else. I felt very fortunate to be a part of this wedding. For the venue, the light, the calm with which everything unfolded, and for the trust they placed in me to document it. Weddings like this remind me why I do what I do and why I continue to champion documentary photography—honest and unpretentious.
